"A 10 night house and pet sit caring for Tinkerbell the St Bernard, Bella the Labrador and Luna the Rabbit in Pontefract, UK"

In April we were very lucky to have the opportunity to care for our first St Bernard, along with a lovely black Labrador and a bunny rabbit close to Pontefract in South Yorkshire. The dogs loved to go out in the Land Rover the owners left for us to use and we headed to their favourite walk in the fields full of butter cups high above the village where we were living.
Tinkerbell and Bella were the best of Pals and both were a delight to care for. Luna the rabbit was a sweet little addition to the family and although blind, loved to be fed Kale by hand.

Tinkerbell, Bella and Luna’s owners were away for nearly two weeks, so we ensured they received regular updates by Whatsapp, along with photos and videos of Tinks and Bella’s adventures and days out with us to let them know that they were having a really great time with us. Tinkerbell needed daily grooming and her slobber wiping up after her water drinks. They were an absolute delight to look after and so loving.

Review received | April 22, 2022 – Wow, where to start! We can’t thank Julie and Jonathan enough. They were fantastic house sitters and looked after our babies amazingly well. We have a St Bernard and a Labrador and Saints can take a lot of work cleaning up after them but Julie and Jon took this in their stride. They groomed them and took them on their favourite walks. The dogs are actually sad to see them leave. We came home to a lovely clean and tidy home and Jon had even cut the grass for us! They went above and beyond caring for our pets(including Luna, the not so friendly rabbit 🤣) they updated us with lovely pictures and videos and made us feel so reassured that we’d left our home and pets in good hands. We can’t wait to invite them back again. We would very highly recommend Julie and Jon for any sit. Any home and pet owner would be lucky to have them 😃
