Julie has been a School Secretary / Bursar for most of her career
and for the past 15 years has been running our small online travel consultancy business. With a keen interested in fitness, health and nutrition, she has run the world-famous London Marathon.
Jonathan has been a Leisure Centre Manager, Holiday Property Manager and School Swimming Teacher. For the past 15 years he has been building websites. He has looked after a number of holiday properties in the past which require anything from pool maintenance, regular cleaning, booking in guests, to staff management and liaising with contractors. His hobbies include hiking, fishing and travel.
We both work completely via an internet connection and have the freedom to reply to emails at a time that suits us, so we are always on hand to give your pets the care and attention they deserve. Plus if anything should go wrong, you know we are there to take care of things promptly. You can have the peace of mind knowing that someone is about during the day and we are always happy to accommodate any deliveries you may have planned.
Our main hobbies are being out in the fresh air, walking and hiking, preferably with a pet. We are both keen gardeners, cleaners and Jonathan has some DIY skills.

With house sitting, one of the best ways for you to know we are right for you is for you to read through our reviews of sits we have completed via the largest pet sitting community which we are members of, we are also more than happy to have a video call to see if we are a good fit for each other and that we can meet your pets needs. We would ideally have a little time on the hand over day to really get to know your pets and their routines before you go away.
We are more than happy to arrive early for a smooth handover before you leave for your trip. We also have experience of arriving after owners have already left for their vacation (on occasion the owners have a very early flight and prefer us to arrive later in the morning), this does not phase us at all as we ensure we have all the information we require prior to the start of the sit.
We can be flexible to your needs. As we both work from home we can easily keep your pets on their current routines and ensure any medication is given to them on time. You can be assured that your beloved animals are being properly cared for and this continuation of routine will ease any concerns they may have by your departure, while we build a friendly relationship with them in your absence. Our flexibility also means that we can usually arrive and depart at a time that fits in with your plans.
We take our pet sitting assignments incredibly seriously and fully understand the great responsibility we have to care for the owners special pets. Part of this includes taking courses in aspects of pet care. Jonathan has recently completed a Canine Behaviour Course with one of the most interesting sections concentrating on easing anxiety in rescue dogs.
